²¹ The stones are to be engraved in the order of the names of Bnei-Yisrael, twelve according to their names, like the etchings of a signet seal, one corresponding to each name of the twelve tribes.^[a]

²² “Also you are to make, upon the breastplate, braided chains of wreathed work from pure gold. ²³ Forge on the breastplate two rings of gold and fasten the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
